We use eco-friendly cleaning products for all equipment and cleaning purposes to mitigate any harmful chemical impacts. We also make efforts to use socially responsible office supply options. Even our office furniture is made from reclaimed Ontario barn wood, hand-crafted by a local artisan.

    We partnered with Bullfrog Power for their Green Fuel diversion program, the first in Canada to divert 100% of our commercial fleet! We are also implementing intelligent routing systems for our daily deliveries, creating efficiency and lowering overall emissions footprint.

    We actively source, procure, and promote options to our client base that are locally made, produce less waste (such as loose leaf teas, bulk sizes, etc), or that use environmentally-friendly packaging. We offer a vast selection of options that offer Fair or Direct Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, Kosher, Recyclable, Biodegradable, or Compostable certifications. We are also working on researching the full life-cycle impact of our products.

    We are working with our supplier network to streamline purchasing (less footprint), and source as many local options as possible in all areas. We are also creating supplier standards and surveys that will review their CSR impacts and identify those that are minority-run organizations, with the aim to push support to those that warrant it.

    Firstly, we encourage clients to use products that have less waste impact wherever possible. We procure and promote bulk purchasing and responsibly packaged products. We also offer clients different unique waste management solutions to altogether mitigate their office coffee waste streams, no matter the system.

    We’ve achieved a 95% success rate in our Zero Waste to Landfill operational initiative, and are striving for 100%! We actively review areas for improvement to also minimize our waste impact altogether. Additionally, we ensure our equipment has the life-cycle maximized and is being ethically recycled.

    We strongly encourage clients to use sustainable Point Of Use water systems (instead of bottled water options), wherever water access is available. We are also evaluating ways to reduce our operational water impact, with options such as built-in rainwater systems. We are additionally reviewing our Cause Alliances to support conservation and proper supply chain management of water irrigation and use.
